Our location

The IQ Wissen tuition centre at Ismaninger Strasse 33 in the Bogenhausen district is near the Europaplatz, the Friedensengel and the Maximiliansanlagen park.

How to reach us

The best way to reach us is by public transport. Trams 16 and 17 and the 100 bus route will take you to the nearest stop, which is Villa Stuck. If you take the U-Bahn, take either the U4 or U5 to the Max-Weber-Platz stop, which is a five-minute walk from out tuition centre.


As there are no parking spaces close our tuition centre, we recommend that you use public transport.

Course levels (language levels)

We'll start you off with a language proficiency test. This will help us to assess your level of proficiency so that we can help you choose the right course.
Here is a summary of your skill level assessment:  


You have no previous knowledge of the foreign language and can neither speak nor write it. You start the course as a complete beginner.


You can share your point of view in conversations and discussions.


You can use simple language to make yourself understood, introduce yourself, ask and answer questions about your situation.


You have no trouble taking part in discussions about everyday topics and you can write simple texts.


You are able to take part in everyday conversations, such as providing information about yourself and your family, going shopping, work, your current situation, etc.


You understand long, complex texts in a wide variety of different styles, such as technical articles or instructions. You can express yourself fluently and precisely without having to think about it. You can explain complex matters in detail and give extended speeches.
